What We Do

Over 100 tutors partner with McShan students during the school year Monday through Friday in one or more 45-minute sessions and on select Saturdays 8 am to 12 noon.

We tutor by pairing tutors and students, enabling consistent mentoring relationships for confidence building. Prior teaching experience is not required.

.

We augment students’ classroom lessons through focused English language basics of alphabet, phonics, reading, writing and reading comprehension. All materials are provided.

Changed My Life”

I love children, and have babysat a range of ages for the past four years. I participated in Summer Academy last year and it changed my life. I found that I love teaching and am excited to have the chance to do it again.
